Hack The Box Beginner

Hello folks,

I am Dhanuka Lakshan who is currently studying in Bsc (Honours) Information Technology specializing Cyber Security at SLIIT from Sri lanka. I want to sharp my hand of skills for my cyber career. I decided start the hack the box which is online cyber security training platform. This platform is really interest and funny.

As a beginner I had to complete few tasks and I gave to good starting for start the first level. First question was “What is the name of the first section of this module?”

I gave to more answers for this question firstly but those answers are wrong. Actually I fade up because this platform not familiar. Fortunately end of the trying I got the answer. It is Introduction. After that question I think that is very basic question. Its okay because I am a beginner.I will try my best.

My section question is “Based on the commands you executed, what is likely to be the operating system flavor of this instance?”

I login to the linux instance and click on the terminal then I did type uname -a

After that I continue the hack the box platform because this is the most important for the cyber security students for build up the knowledge and polish the hand of skills . Thank you!
